“Hearing the piece, ‘The Message,’ that the soprano sang, her technique was outstanding. Her resonance, her control of her voice was really inspiring to me as a musician. [...] It was so beautiful, extremely colorful [and] stunning to watch. The technique was phenomenal. I loved how it felt so joyful [during] the whole thing, yet there were pieces that were extremely touching and moving and I loved that. I loved the different perspectives, the different dynamics—it was beautiful all around. The whole movement all together brought out a lot of emotion that was from deep within and not just in words, and I loved it.”
